On April 29th I drove down to the southeast (outside) edge of the San Rafael Swell, just north of Goblin Valley State Park.
Again.
This time I wanted to hike a mile or so up the swell incline so I could fly my drone over the more interesting parts of Crack Canyon. This time the weather and wind cooperated.
It was a pleasant ‘springtime in the desert’ kind of hike with only some elevation change. I was able to fly my drone and get a good view of areas that I will never get to explore on foot.

Though we didn’t have any rain during the month of April, there were still some wildflowers blooming.

Another perfect day!
