About Lynn Sessions

Published by Lynn Sessions

Utah has got to be one of the most diverse and unique areas of the entire world and I want to see and photograph it all!

I especially love southern Utah so I decided years ago that I wanted to hike every canyon down there. I figure that if I live another 154 years, I’ll probably make it.

As I endeavor to stick my camera lens into every corner of Utah, I’m also attempting to document every Utah natural arch and bridge — which currently numbers over 600. At the same time I have already visited (and documented with photographs) EVERY named Utah town, city, community and settlement.  To my photographic collection I seem to have also started adding a collection of Indian petroglyphs and pictographs.

Hi Lynn, I am writing a book on the photographer Carleton Watkin (American 1829-1916), who was the first to photograph in the Weber Canyon and Echo Canyon areas of Utah. I am hoping that you can help me identify the specific locations of a half-dozen pictures he made of rock formations in the vicinity of Echo, Utah.

I would be happy to send you copies of the photographs by email or in hard copy. Let me know if you would like to participate.

In appreciation and with very best wishes,

Hi Lynn, I’m not sure how communicating with your website works. I just sent a message, but there was no confirmation that it was transmitted.
