My wife and I decided to drag our travel trailer down to Capitol Reef National Park for a few days. We just needed to get out of town and see what Spring had brought us.
The first night we stayed in a trailer campground in Torrey. That gave me a chance to explore the backroads north of Torrey.

The next morning we moved into the park and managed to get the last camping spot at the park’s campgrounds. They keep a number of campsites open each day for drive-in campers but most of the spots are reserved well in advance.

We drove around some but mostly stayed near the trailer, just enjoying the beautiful setting.

It was very pleasant.
