The first part of January is usually frigid and dreary in Utah Valley and this year was no exception. I had a chance to meet some people in Arches National Park near Moab about a possible photo shoot so David and I drove down for the day to discuss it. with them Nothing beneficial resulted from the meeting but it gave us a chance to drive around the park and take a few winter pictures.

There was enough snow to make hiking uncomfortable and cold enough that we really didn’t want to get too far from the vehicle.
