We wanted to explore the canyons near Hanksville further so David and I managed to squeeze out one more day trip to visit Butler Wash, southeast of Hanksville.

The day was nice enough for hiking but too windy for me to fly my drone. That was too bad because we were positioned well to have been able to see a lot of new country if I could have. We might have also gotten a look at a natural arch we were looking for. Alas, we couldn’t see anything from the canyon edge.

At the end of the day, we took a different road back to the highway which left us near Turkey Knob about sundown.

It was a good day for exploring.
