Under the cover of attending a family reunion in northeastern Utah, I was able to spend some time flying my drone over the Sheep Creek Geological Area south of Manila Utah and near Flaming Gorge National Recreational Area.
The Bennett side of my family homesteaded along Sheep Creek and up on “the bench” between Sheep Creek Canyon and Manila.
I even managed to find a natural arch in the cliffs.
Unfortunately, it is only a small Class ‘D’ Natural Arch. It might grow larger if I wait a few thousand years. We’ll see.
