The snow had finally melted enough in the high country to warrant a drive up the Mirror Lake Highway which is State Road 150.

Nearing the Bald Mountain summit, we stopped at Lilly Lake for a few pictures. The ground was saturated with melted snow and there were still large patches of snow in the trees. It was cool but the wildflowers were beginning to bloom.

We stopped at Mirror Lake but there were a lot of people there so we didn’t stay long.

The next stop was at Christmas Meadows, which is down a dirt road heading southeast just after the Stillwater Campground. Here I was able to fly my drone a bit.
