Crash Report

Today I headed for central Utah so I could find a nice place to fly my drone. I entered a canyon and set up to fly.

About 200 feet in the air, the drone began to drift to the west. I manually pulled it back but then it began to slide to the east… FAST! I tried to recover but it hit the cliff wall… HARD!

The drone bounced off the cliff wall several times before coming to rest at the bottom. I had to climb up a scree slope to retrieve the pieces. After about 45 minutes, I had recovered everything except the camera/gimbal assembly.

I suppose one crash in three years isn’t too bad but I would really like to know what happened.
